'Field_Condition' ActionScript work [with Shaul Olmert]
>next>

'...The field describes a space of propagation, of effects. It contains no matter or material points, rather functions, vectors and speeds'.('Points + Lines', Stan Allen) It describes local relations between neighboring nodes, capable of unifying divers elements while respecting the identity of each.
Version 1.0: set ALPHA value, myPOWER and RGB value and roll-over field with the mouse. Adjust sliders when desired.

This work is researching the field behavior using code of ActionScript-Flash MX. When the mouse rolls over a square in the field , it is updated with parameters from the sliders:
myPower- set the percentage of influence from the environment on local setting of the square.

Alpha- set transparency level (alpha 0 = transparent, alpha 100 = opaque)
Red/Green/Blue- set color value

The user can adjust the sliders to experience the reaction of the 'field'. The surrounding squares update themselves constantly according to local settings, depending on their 'POWER' to decide how much would they be influenced by the environment, and how much will they keep their own settings (of Alpha and RGB value).
